Yes.
If a complete scan of the documents was not made by the customer or their adviser before sending to View's secure storage, then this step can be requested. For pricing to retrieve the scan documentation please see here (in particular “Copy/scan of document held in secure storage”).
Depending on the circumstances, certain steps need to be taken because:
- the guidelines are mandated by our Professional body and insurer
- it protects you as the facilitating adviser and your customer’s documents
- each party also needs to confirm receipt and acknowledge their agreement to the process.
As a first step please email solutions@viewlegal.com.au with the following information:
- Full name of customer/s
- Documents in relation to which full scans are required
- What your relationship is to the customer
Once your request is received, the View team will review and provide confirmation of the next step.
